- start the windows vm, and open "Command Prompt" as administrator
defrag C: /a
defrag C: /u /v
- Download and run SDelete:
sdelete -z C:
- shutdown the windows vm
- In the hosting machine run
VBoxManage modifymedium ~/VirtualBox\ VMs/Windows10\ MOE/Windows10\ MOE-2019-12-17-disk001.vdi --compact
compact virtualbox windows vm disk
