Solved: TPG ADSL2+ extremely slow during peak hours








Since mid April/2011, my internet connection became extremely slow during peak hours (after 8PM).

Searched whirlpool.net.au, found the following solution, and it works for me:
Change the PPP user name from yourusername@PPP.tpg.com.au to yourusername@L2TP.tpg.com.au, apply the settings and restart the modem.
