Word: Insert horizontal lines

In Word, type 3 dashes --- then hit enter,  it will become a straight horizontal line.

For other styles of horizontal lines, you can try any of the following:

• type 3 asterisks *** then hit enter
• type 3 underscores ___ then hit enter
• type 3 equal signs === then hit enter
• type 3 hash signs ### then hit enter
• type 3 tildes ~~~ then hit enter
